DELL Switch : shutdown interface configuration command disables interfaces

  • The following example disables Ethernet Gi1/0/1.

Console(config)# interface ethernet Gi1/0/1

Console(config-if)# shutdown

  • The following example re-enables ethernet Gi1/0/1.

Console(config)# interface ethernet Gi1/0/1

Console(config-if)# no shutdown
